DOC takes part in Pan European Institute conference in Turku

On 21 November, DOC Research Co-Founder Peter W. Schulze attended the Russian Enigma business conference at the University of Turku’s Pan European Institute, in Finland.
Also present were economists and sociologists from Russia, Poland, Norway, Switzerland, Sweden, and the Baltic States.
For Finland, commercial opportunities in Russia are of enormous interest, particularly in forestry, infrastructure and high tech. Schulze presented analyses of four possible future political scenarios in Russia.
Other topics discussed were Russia’s role in the Baltic region, the state of the Russian economy , and Finnish-Russian commercial relations.
The conference was held on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the Pan European Institute. The Institute is part of the Turku School of Economics.
