The Dialogue of Civilizations Research Institute (DOC) has appointed Dr. Cristina Stanca-Mustea to spearhead its flagship projects and events. Cristina joins the management team of the Berlin-based international think tank, and reports directly to CEO Jean-Christophe Bas.

Before joining the DOC, Cristina worked as strategy and development consultant for UNESCO in Paris, and a communications and outreach officer at Heidelberg university. She holds a PhD from Heidelberg University focused on media history and intercultural communication. Cristina speaks fluent English, German, French and Romanian.
