14th Rhodes Forum to take place in the end of September, 2016

The Presidency of the World Public Forum “Dialogue of Civilizations” met in Prague, Czech Republic, on February 19, 2016.

The members of the meeting discussed the preparations to launching the WPF think tank.

Preliminary agenda of the 14th Rhodes Forum was set up. The Forum itself will be convened on 29th of September- 1st of October. The main theme of the Forum is defined as “The Clash of Multiplicity: an Urgent Call for Dialogue.”

For coordinating arrangements to the Forum’s 14th Session a Steering Committee was built up which includes WPF Founding President Vladimir Yakunin, WPF Co-Chairmen Fred Dallmayr and Walter Schwimmer, WPF Executive Director Vladimir Kulikov, Dr. Adrian Pabst from the University of Kent and Raffaele Marchetti, LUISS University.


On 28 June 2017 world experts will meet at the DOC Research event to discuss ways of protecting cultural heritage in regions troubled by war. The round-table discussion will focus on pre-Islamic culture in areas experiencing conflict, especially in the Middle East, and will involve UNESCO officials, NGO leaders, and heads of museums known worldwide.
